Dial and Discover OnCell Audio System
Superintendent Jerry Eubanks announced today a new way to access audio information while visiting Gulf Islands National Seashore. “Similar to an auto tour, visitors can use their personal cell phones while in the park or from their home phone to access recorded park information,” said Eubanks. Gulf Islands is one of many national park areas that provide the OnCell Audio System for park visitors this summer.
Currently visitors can access ten recorded information lines and there is no charge except the individual’s cell plan usage or long distance costs if calling outside the Greater Pensacola Area. Users call 850-677-1089 and press an information line:

Placards with the information will be placed at appropriate bulletin boards throughout the park areas. For more information about park programs and park information call 850-934-2600 or visit the park webpage at www.nps.gov/guis.
