If you love to be out and about in nature, you will love this time of year. Grab your backpack and sunscreen and head to our trails and parks. - One of the best ways to experience the Beaches to Rivers of Santa Rosa. Blackwater River State Park offers a gateway to hiking, biking, fishing, and canoeing adventures. Its rivers offer peace and quiet, natural beauty and plenty of fun for all ages and all levels of water skill. The Navarre Beach area also has plenty of outdoor fun to offer. Connect with nature by explore the Gulf or the Santa Rosa Sound by kayak, and stop at one of the secluded sandbars along the Gulf Islands National Seashore. For hiking and biking trails, stop by the Visitor Center for a comprehensive nature trails map.

Golfing:
If the "green" is calling you, this is the perfect time of year to go and tee off! The Navarre Beach area offers year-round play on challenging and well-maintained courses for golfers of all skill levels. Most courses have full practice facilities and golf pros willing to help lower your handicap. With sugar-white beaches a wedge away and a variety of breathtakingly beautiful courses, there's no better place to tee off. Ask your front-desk staff or stop by the Visitor Center to find out about the beautiful courses nearby.
